This is a very, very, early photograph I took that I think had to do when I was out trying to photograph Caterpillar tractors, based on the tracks on the earth below. I'm standing on a pile of lumber and this was probably taken at one of the marshes in Alameda. Again, I suppose it's the same kind of self-portrait that everybody has done, their own shadow.
