The caption on the back reads: Les Scarsella of Oakland is congratulated by teammate Tony Sabol as he crosses home plate after hitting a 345-foot game winning homer in the seventh inning of the game between the Oaks and Seattle yesterday. Scarsella sent Sabol in to score ahead of him. The Oaks won their fourth victory, 4 to 3, and clinched the series. In addition to the caption: both Oaks players have their hands extended to one another. Sabol (#8) has his back to the camera. The date of this phot is unclear. It is possible that the date was 05/12/1948 or 1946.
