This is a photo of the 1923 Oakland Oaks baseball team. The photo was taken at their spring training field in Myrtledale. The players are sitting and standing for the picture which appears to be an add for Buick: there is a buick car and pennant in the middle of the team. To the far right a player stands holding a bat ready for a pitch and another is in a catcher's stance ready for the pitch. The photo was taken on home plate and the background is the backstop.
