On the back of the photo Oakland Tribune caption - hand written " 3 Col Tunnel #1, DC Tues 11/20/62 until story, Broadway Tunnel". On the back of the photograph there are two stamped dates ofNOV 10, 1962 and NOV 20, 1962. A newspaper article is pasted on the back with a stamp of TRD NOV 20 1962 "GLARING WORK LIGHTS ILLUMINATE STEEL-RIBBED MAIN TUNNEL ROUTE. Tube will provide communters with new Oakland-Contra Costa link". The photograph shows a construction worker wearing a hard hat walking inside of the tunnel.
