Negative shows three groups of children, all boys, in a gym. They are all dressed in costume and are grouped around and in "floats." The first float is square with a boy sitting in side it and two standing behind him raising their hands in the air. They are all wearing Boy Scout uniforms. The middle float or boat is shaped like an Indian canoe. All of the boys are standing up in their canoe float raising their hands and wearing Indian costumes. The last float is shaped sort of like a navy ship and is sitting on a child's wagon. The boys standing around the float are wearing navy costumes and boy scout uniforms and are all raising their hands. Leaning against the wall watching the boys are several men including one man in a military uniform.
