Each photo has a caption which is presented on the back of the previous page. There is a note from Helen Nestor indicating that the pages are to be viewed in this order to keep the captions with the correct photos. The pages have been correctly ordered and assigned letters, "a" for the note from the author, "b" through "d" for the other front matter, and "e" through "rr" for the photos.
