Fragments of Western Civilization" was a piece in the Arneson retrospective that traveled to TOM (initiated by Des Moines Art Center) in 1987. "Fragment" was constructed in 1972, but for each venue where the show traveled, Arneson fired bricks with the name of the particualr museum.
