A group of soldiers crowd along the railing of a ship returning home from the Korean War after two and a half years at war. The soldiers smile and wave in cheer. A US flag waves on the left, and two soldiers hold up a newspaper with the headline: "8 Guilty as Atom Spies". Clip taped to back reads: "Men of the 40th Division repeat this scene on their return home today...two and a half years after the California outfit went off to war in Korea." Date Jun 16 1954 stamped to clip. Stamped to back: "Mar 31 1951" There is no noted photographer on this image.
