Envelope reads, "alameda county Sheriff & deputies." Negative is a copy negative of a group portrait made of individual portraits of deputies. It is the bottom two rows of the original and includes two women. The words "Sheriff Frank Barnett and Deputies" is visible just above the portraits of the two women and would probably have been in the middle of the original print.
