Poster has a large image in the center of a man's face looking through prison cell bars. He has blood dripping on his forehead. Below is "Remember" printed in red and "Attica" printed in black. [In 1971 prisoners rioted at the Attica Correctional Facility in Attica, New York over better living conditions. Several of the leaders had a developed political analysis and raised the confrontation to a deeper level. In the ensuing takeback under the direction of Governor Nelson Rockefeller at least 39 people were killed. This poster was produced by the Black Workers Congress, a short-lived labor-based radical organization. -LMC]
