A pilot is seated in the cockpit of his biplane. The plane has chocks in front of its wheels. A man, standing in front of the propellor, has his right arm above him; he is giving the signal to the pilot that he is ready to manually rotate the propellor, preparatory to starting the engine. The typewritten notation on the back reads " This is the way they used to start airplanes.
