Content description:
Negative is identified on the envelope as "Oriental dancer." Negative shows a woman lounging on a makeshift bed draped with material. She is wearing a very brief, beaded costume with lots of see-through gauzy material. She is holding a fan made of peacock feathers in her left hand. Her head is tipped back slightly and she is resting her head on her upraised right hand. She is wearing a headdress made of more feathers and beads with several rows of beads hanging around her chin. At the top of the "bed" is a bouquet of flowers and more peacock feathers. A stack of boxes are at the end of the bed. The costume does not appear to be Oriental in design. Contact print #15 in first blue binder. As of 1-7-97 to be found in metal drawer marked "Misc. Tribune, Theaters.
