Envelope reads "Ad Club Ball 1917." Negative shows a large crowd of people sitting in bleachers in two tiers possibly at the Oakland Auditorium. On the ground floor, under the bleachers, is an area blocked off with several women sitting in chairs behind the booth-like structure and men standing around behind them. The booth is decorated with streamers and bunting. A sign hanging from the booth says "Oakland Rotary Club- Service not Self-." Standing around on the floor in front of the booth is a large crowd of people, some sitting in chairs and others standing around, some men in military uniform. A short distance away are four people wearing costumes shaped like bottles trying to exit the building. One of the bottles says "Walnut Creamery Co. Grove." Lots of people sitting in the bleachers above the floor. Might be some sort of event for best advertising.
