Brass teapot with lid and handles. a)= teapot, b)=lid. Brass teapot, round base, with straight body and squared "s" shaped spout. It has a round lid with a lip that overlaps the opening which raises 7/8" from the body. It has two half circle handles which hinge on two raised hinges in axis with the spout. The body has two raised 3/8" circular half domes for the handles to rest when lowered. The teapot has five Chinese characters etched at the bottom. It also has at the bottom a gummed label with numbers. Description: Brass Chinese teapot; straight body, two handles and squared "s" shape spout; it has a raised lid. Condition: Very good.
