A ship of soldiers returns home to the San Francisco bay to a warm welcome from a number of individuals, including Betty Jardine, Miss Golden Gate, who holds up a city key, and a band that includes tubas and bagpipes. Jardine wears a pretty dress, gloves, and heels, and a conductor leads the band. Soldiers of all sorts of military branches wander around the incoming ship as well.
