Poster consists of black print on white paper. The images on the right side depicts a line drawing of a human face in profile with two large teardrops on it and a man in 1970's clothing strangled by a giant necktie. The middle and left side of the poster is a 19 stanza poem about the history and current day status of African Americans entitled "Bicentennial Blues / America's 200th Anniversary.
