Content description:
Caption summarizes: "Under arrest -- Burton Abbott, in manacles, in hustled past an Alameda City Jail bulletin board bearing circular (arrow) on murdered Stephanie Bryan by Berkeley Inspector Al Riedel. Abbott was jailed at Berkeley." Stephanie Bryan had been reported missing the previous April. She is featured on a "missing girl" sign on the bulletin board. Her face is clearly visible on the paper. Abbott is led out of the jail by Riedel and O'Meara (behind Abbott).
