Tribune caption on the back, Dec. 19, 1985 "GoBots: hot items in toy stores because they've been on TV." Handwritten, "James Frazier, 11, James Stewart, 7 inspect Robot toys at Lakshore toyhouse. GoBots & Transformers are TV toys." Photo shows two young boys, one African American and the other white kneeling on the floor in front of a display of toys at a toy store. The display is filled with GoBots and Transformers which were popular toys that turned from cars into robots (they were a popular cartoon show at one time). On one end of the display is a stack of Gremlins dolls ("Gremlins" was a movie which inspired the doll) and in the background is a stack of Cabbage Patch dolls plastic bike (looks like a Big Wheel). The boy on the right is wearing a Nike sweatshirt and jeans and is holding one of the robots in his hand. The other boy is wearing a sweat suit with strips down the arms and legs and is holding a skateboard in his hand as he looks at the toys.
