The only clue to the four men in this photo is a penciled notation on the back that reads "Notarie [sic] visitors" At any rate, a group of four men are posed behind a U. S. flag held almost horizontally. The man at left is wearing a suit and dark fedora; he is also sporting a large badge on his left suit lapel. To his left and slightly to the rear is another man wearing a fedora and a small bunch of flowers in his left lapel; he wears round frame eyeglasses. To that man's left there is another man; the only part of him visible is his head and fedora. The man at the right carries a broom over his left shoulder. He is wearing a suit, a shirt with a bow tie, and a fedora. He has a flower in his left lapel and a badge that reads "President" A pendant from the badge might tell us what organization he is a president of, but it is not readable. The notation on the backsuggests that the photo is of a group of notaries who have just been elected to office and are celebrating "a clean sweep.
