Physical description:
Rug sample No. 692. Seale model of abstract design in blue, white, and black of 70% wool and 30% nylon. Lively looped pile rectangle (wool?) in black, white, and turquoise blue in a graphic design utilizing black and white as well as turquoise and white stripes and black, white, and turquoise element in "Modern" style. (S.B.) Note- "signature" on reverse- D. LIEBES in black marker, also 692 in black marker. The ground looks commercially made, edges folded to back. (Beth Szuhay, Textile Conservator)
