Photograph album, Civil War times, owned by father of donor, Will C. Barnes Co. G., 8 in., U. S. Veterans, 7th St. barracks, Wash. D. C. Contains 17 photographs, including owner, Will C. Barnes, his friends, and one of Geo. Washington & one of Abraham Lincoln. Written inside front cover is "Will C. Barnes, Cols. 8in U.S. Veterans ---, 7th St. Barracks, Washington, D.C."; Roll shots #4.21705 & 21706 are of the album cover and clasp; note that binding of album is loose from spine and the paper under it depicts a bride and groom (newsprint).
