Original envelope read, "Wheeler Memorial, 1927." Negative shows a large crowd of people sitting in folding chairs in front of a platform upon which is a podium where a man wearing the graduation garb is speaking. Others dressed like the speaker are sitting in chairs on the platform. They are in an open area surrounded by trees. This is apparently a graduation ceremony.
