The photograph reveals a large number of people milling about the gravesite on the hill. This is an aerial photograph. This photograph was used on two separate occasions in the Oakland Tribune. First, July 21, 1955. Caption reads: "Arrows point to spot where body of Stephanie Bryan was found. Cirecle rings nearby cabin where Burton Abbott spent fateful weekend." Second, November 7, 1955. Caption reads: "The evening of July 20 bloodhounds led searchers to Stephanies' [sic] grave on a hill overlooking Abbott's Trinity Co. cabin. Abbott was arrested on suspicion of murder. Arrow points to spot where body was found, circle rings the cabin where Abbott spent the weekend of the girl's disappearance. Broken line traces route the body may have been carried up the hill. The grave was 335 feet from the cabin.
