Leta Ramos wore these red satin platform shoes as part of a "Wonder Woman" costume she wore to a Beaux Arts Ball, held as a fund raiser for the Oakland Museum in the late 1960s or early 1970s. The shoes buckle on the side and are decorated with couched embroidery in metallic gold threads (over a black core). Shoes are lined with black ribbed fabric, no makers marks.
