LEGISLATIVE GOALS N.O.W. (NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR WOMEN) 1. Passage of the Equal Rights Amendment; 2. Creation and Expansion of Child Care Facilities; 3. Revision of Income Tax Laws, Social Security Laws and Laws Relating to Pension and Retirement Plans; 4. Amendment of Title II, The Public Accommodations Section of the 1964 Civil Rights Act; 5. Amendment of Title VI; 6. Passage of Legislation Giving the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission 'Cease and Desist' powers and a larger budget; 7. Passage of Legislation Requiring Equal Treatment for Women in Federal Job Training and Opportunity Programs, such as OEO, MDTA, and the Vocational Education Act; 8. Passage of Legislation Providing Protection of Employment Rights during and after Pregnancy; 9. Repeal of Abortion Laws.
