Tribune caption on the back, Aug. 15, 1961- "BANK 'BRAIN' BUILDING- Double-pointed arrow shows the future Broadway frontage of the Wells Fargo Bank-American Trust Company's Eastbay accounting center. The building will house a multitude of electronic 'brain' machines to process daily accounts and records. Building at left is Town House Hotel. At right is the DFaiser Building, which formerly was that firm's headquarters and now houses offices of the various Kaiser medical groups. The site, covering 57,600 square feet, was sold for $1 million. (See Story, Page One.)." Photo shows a series of business in one area on Broadway. A few cars are parked at meters at the curbs. The businesses are: Pan Am office, H. Morton C. Jewelers, United Airlines office, Vic Tanny Health Studio, Piepenburg's Jewelers, Club Martini, and the Town House Hotel.
