a. photograph shows what looks like a piece of medical equipment, a small wheeled cart. The top of the cart houses two jars that are connected with flexible tubing. Mounted on the device has is a small panel with text: "Synemed, Inc. / Berkeley, CA., U.S.A. / Synevac, TM Model15". b. drawing consists of areas of loose shading and various lines and dots. It appears to be a guide for retouching and cropping the photograph.
