Pair of Roger Vivier sling back sandals of silver colored kid and clear plastic. Closed toe is of the silver colored kid, with a band of clear plastic (perforated near the toe cap so the foot can breath) making up the vamp of the shoe; heel and straps of the silver colored kid, with a rhinestone buckle. A: Is the right shoe, marked "Roger Vivier"; B: is the left shoe marked "Saks Fifth Avenue. Maureen Roth wore these shoes (purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue) with a silver and white shift (dress) which had been purchased at I. Magnin in Palo Alto. The event was the September 1966, Bar Mitzvah of her son, David L. Roth; the ceremony held at Beth-Am Temple in Los Altos Hills was followed by a luncheon at the Cabana in Palo Alto.
