Three men are gathered around a decorated cart with wheels. The men are from the Capwell's Acorn Club kitchen staff. They are dressed up in comical costumes and their cart is adorned with large pots and pans, ladles and whisks as well as comical signs. The men are all smiling good naturedly at the joke of the scene. One man holds a sign on a stick that says, "King of the Kitchen (by special permission of the copyright owners)" A sign below this says, "ice box full of groceries, cellar full of beer, hats off to Mulligan, good times are near." One sign on the cart says, "celebrities such as these endorse Mulligans platform, Sopie Klots, Al Capone, Greta Garbo, `Bill' Shakespeare, Jimmie Rolph, Elmer Zilch, and Herbie Hoover". Another sign says, "From kitchen sink to the ... office, outcry is Mulligan. Vote for Mulligan and sleep in clover, Vote for vail and sleep in the streets". Note: James Rolph served as S.F. mayor from 1911 to 1930 and served as California Governor 1931-34.
