AAHMES Ballpark Pageant. Several large groups of marchers are assembled together in the outfield of the Oakland Oaks' ballpark. The first group in the formation is a marching band dressed in Arabian costume. Behind them are several other groups of marchers, each with a particular style of uniform. They are participating in a ballpark "pageant" sponsored by AAHMES. The stadium's grandstands are mostly empty - dotted with only a few spectators. The blank scoreboard is in the background. Also, some of the advertising billboards that blanket the stadium walls are visible. These include: Richmond-San Rafael Auto Ferries, Hotel Leamington, Jelton Motor Co. (DeSoto and Plymouth dealer), and Lifebouy ("Gets Skin Cleaner and Stops B.O.").
