A21 is a scene from the Moroni Olsen players group of "The Makropoulous Secret." Moroni Olsen came from Ogden, Utah, and he organized this group of professional actors who toured colleges and little theaters throughout the west. He and his group often played the Theatre of the Golden Bough [in Carmel]. I believe this might have been made there. There will be other pictures of the Moroni Olsen players in both "Makropouous Secret" and another play." "Moroni Olsen went on to become a very frequently seen character actor in the movies and I think he actually did directing. I also think at the time he was connected with the Pasadena Playhouse. At any rate, he was quite distinguished in the field. Janet Young was very beautiful and very talented, but as far as I know she never made it with any great fame in movies or on stage, that is, commercial stage."
