Content description:
This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks baseball game in progress. In this shot a Sacramento Salons player is sliding into home plate. The catcher is guarding the plate with his left leg in order to make the tag. A baseball bat and catcher's mask is on the ground just behind and to the right of the catcher. The umpire has his hands on his knees watching the play closely. Another Salons player is standing just to the left of the umpire. The third base side and left field can be seen in the background.
