This black and white picture postcard was postmarked July 29, 1939 in Yosemite. Sent to "Mrs. L. Westphal, 1000 Sutter St., San Francisco, Cal., Granada Hotel. July 28, '39, My dear Mrs. Westphal, [Tuolumne] Meadows. Have been here about 10 days. Elevation 10,000 ft. Mountains covered with snow. Reminds me of the Canadian Rockies. Fine fishing and plenty of Bears. Hung every thing in a tree. -- Caught 10 fish in this lake yesterday. Hope this finds you well. Love, Mary E.
