This is a photographic negative of an Oakland Oaks player being congratulated at home plate after he hit a home run. The player who has just rounded the bases is nearly at home plate and just about to touch the hand of a teammate. The catcher is standing behind the plate with his hands on his hips. The umpire is watching the player as he gets closer to home plate. The stands behind the plate and on the third base side can be seen here.
