M.L. Cohen included this glass negative in his box labeled "Airport 1928". In the 1920s, California had more airports than any other state. The Oakland Municipal Airport was seen as the gem of Californian airports. Interestingly, this photo is portrait of a man. He is slouching in his seat, with his shirt unbuttoned, his hair is thick and wavy and is sticking almost straight up, and his is sporting a mustache.
