Envelope reads "U.C. crew 1923." In pencil on negative "Launching the Shell 7-10." PHotograph shows a group of men standing on a dock and lowering a rowing shell into the water. The dock extends from the bottom center to upper left of the photograph. Another shell can be seen on the water in the distance and a boat or shipping equipment of some sort can be seen to the left of the dock.
