Original envelope read, "Oakland Aerials & Vistas, 1960--1969." In photograph, aerial view of Oakland. Lake Merritt is seen in middle of photograph. East Oakland is seen in the foreground of the photograph. Downtown Oakland is seen above Lake Merritt. Beyond downtown, west oakland is seen, then the piers of the Oakland waterfront. Above and beyond, Treasure Island and the San Francisco Bay Bridge are seen and parts of San Francisco (Telegraph Hill, Fisherman's Warf, etc.) Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate bridge is visible in the distance and the Marin Headlands. Handwritten on back of photograph, "Oakland.
