Scrapbook. Description: Scrapbook made for Austin Armer in July of 1952 by his mother with art work, photographs, history of the State, etc. Of particular value for photographs by Laura Armer in Tahiti, c. 1900, Chinese photographs, also of Southwest, Navahoes, drawings, etc. (J. Lippett 9/98) On the front of the page is a watercolor of a plant with flowers, signed "S.A.", and this most probably stands for Sidney Armer. The title is "For Austin July 27, 1952 These Golden Memories of Fifty Years". On the back of the page is a lithograph of the Packet Ship "Shackamaxon" 1851.
