Footed, tall lidded jar; stoneware Glazes: faces are blue, gold lustre defines lower half of face and neck. Black glazes have crosshatching in white. Pattern of black polygons with gold centers around the generous foot and exterior of upper lip. Lid: large with cup-like finial; neck connects it to lower part of lid (lavender glaze). Black and gold at trim of lip with white cross hatching.
