From the History Information Station: Object: Railroad baggage cart, called a "Mary Ann," with wood platform, painted in colors of the Southern Pacific Railroad, with luggage. History: This baggage cart was used at Southern Pacific's Sacramento freight station. The items on and around the cart are a sample of what people have brought to California in the twentieth century.
