Robinson joined the Cincinnati Reds in 1956 and won the National League Rookie of the Year award. In 1961, while still with the Reds, he was voted the National League MVP. Robinson joined the Baltimore Orioles in 1965 and was the American League MVP in 1966. He played with the Orioles until 1971. He returned to the Orioles in 1988 as the Manager.
