Photo shows an interracial group of picketers in front of the Tribune building. They are holding signs that say "No Material for Vets Homes, Plenty For Knowlands Tower, Why!" "Who Ruptured Our Duck" "From Foxholes to Shacks!! We Had More Room In Foxholes." Strike in connection with Knowland's refusal to support low income housing in the Oakland Hills. Might be connected with General Stike in Oakland in December. At the bottom of the picket signs it reads "CIO-PAC, CIO Vets Committee." Photo is bent and slightly torn at the edges.
