Even with this sandwich-making department in its commissary, the railroad can't meet the demand and has to buy lunches on contract." The hand-written message left on the back of the photo indicates "Commissary #2". The photo itself is of two women, wearing glasses and hairnets, making sandwiches in an assembly line kind of way. There are about 30 sandwiches in the works. Also, behind of their assembly line there are stacks of lunchmeat, slices of bread, and a bucket of what appears to be mayonaise.
