M.L. Cohen included this glass negative in his box labeled "Airport 1928". In the 1920s, California had more airports than any other state. The Oakland Municipal Airport was seen as the gem of all Californian airports. This photo is obviously of some type of event at the airport. This image is of about 12 men. The men in the center of the photo is looking at the camera and is shaking hands with a man to his left (the viewer's right) with his right hand. Some of the other men in the background and new these two men are either looking at the camera, looking at these men who are shaking each other's hands or talking amongst themselves. It looks as if they might have been indoors for this photo.
