Handwritten on the back, "This was parading past the Opera House. -Wilson Sept. 4, 1951." Tribune caption, Sep. 5, 1951-- "A sound truck circled the San Francisco Opera House with this sign- 'Go Home Gromyko'- as the Japanese peace treaty conference opened. The advice came from Veterans Post Newspaper." Photo shows a station wagon type car (possibly a Buick) with loud speakers mounted on top of the car. It is towing a large sign (sort of a trailer) with the words "Go Home Gromyko! This message in honor of our boys who fought and died in Korea! Veterans Post Newspaper 1119 Mission St. San Francisco, Calif." On the side of the car it says "Abe Ettin's Travel Signs & Sound Cars." The car is driving in front of the War Memorial Opera House.
