M.L. Cohen included this glass negative in his box labeled "Airport 1928". In the 1920s, California had more airports than any other state. The Oakland Municipal Airport was seen as the gem of all of the California airports. This photo depicts six people, one man is in the background looking off to the right, another person is cut off (one can only this person's feet), another man is standing behind the plane and behind another man(one can only see his hat). One woman and one man are the focus of the picture. One man behind the plane (which has the label "Aircraft Co." on its right side) is giving a woman in front of the plane a kiss on the cheek. A man on the right side of this woman has his legs crossed and is looking at the kissing couple.
