Tribune caption on the back, Apr. 14, 1977-- "the Oakland airport's two new motorized carriers that will transport passengers from the terminal to airplanes, are being worked up for use starting May 1. The $425,000 vehicles have a capacity of 150 passengers, of whom 90 may sit, and can rise to plane level by means of the two projecting towers. Similar vehicles are already in use at such airports at Dulles in Washington, in St. Louis and in Mexico City." Photo shows these two vehicles sitting on the tarmace at the airport. One has a ladder by it and a man walking by.
