The exception is the woman in row two who is seated facing a typewriter. A nun is at the left end of the back row, and a priest is at the right end of the same row. The handwritten notation on the back of the photo reads "Mother M. Columba, C.S.J. and Rev. John B. McNally with 7th grade 1893 St. Joseph's Institute 10th and Peralta Sts. (now St. Patricks).
