Contact sheet of twelve photos - three rows of 2"x 2". The photos show a political protest by members of the Ad Hoc Committee to End Discrimination. They are protesting discriminatory hiring practices by the Oakland Tribune. The photos show protesters picketing in front of the Oakland Tribune building and in front of the Tribune's loading dock. Many demonstrators carry large signs with protest slogans. Police officers escort an Oakland Tribune delivery truck through the crowd of demonstrators. Several of the photos show the large crowds of demonstrators which have gathered on the sidewalk and in the street to listen to speakers. Eight "X"s are written in pencil on the back of the contact sheet.
