"Oakland Proletariat" is below the image. There is a row of photograph of important Oakland figures such as "Ceasar Chavez" and "Ronald V. Dellums" next to an Oat Tree symbol at the bottom of the poster. [This was from a series of 10 posters celebrating local "patron saints and sinners" that were wheat-pasted all over town the year Oaklandish was founded as "a covert street art campaign designed to illuminate local history and the unique cultural legacy existing here in 'the Town' ". -LMC]
